Well, My car needs new tires...and I want wider wheels to accommodate more rubber, but of course, I want light weight wheels. TE37's are the dream, however, out of my reach price wise atm. I need a light weight wheel, that can be used for DD'ing and Auto X, that won't break on pot holes... I live in Colorado, roads here are shit. Also, I'd like a wheel that could survive a curb hit if need be (I tend to avoid them, but shit happens if you don't expect it) aka, no Rota knock off TE37's. Suggestions?
The car in question is my 06' 350Z, was hoping for 18's 10-10.5 in rears, and 8.5-9.5 inch fronts, 5x114.3 bolt pattern.

Look at apex wheels. Cheap and light with no loss on quality.

Budget is..hypothetically I could buy TE37's at over 3 k for 4 wheels, but that money is money I'd rather use on a down payment for a house. If they could be kept under 2 k or less would be nice. Finding the right sizes in TE37's even is hard it seems though, without getting into special even pricier ones.

If you want forged Wedsport aren't too expensive usually. Cast I'd go with Enkei RPF-1's.

apex ARC-8's. Very highly regarded in the BMW world. Excellent lightweight track wheels that can be had for a little over a grand. Amazing wheels to DD, very strong. I plan on picking up a set for myself by summer!
Hopefully these would fit the Z...

My immediate thought was "Y'know what would look good on a 350Z? Those 'Propus' wheels from the Volvo C70!" A quick 'shop confirmed my theory, but unfortunately research shows that they are an inch too small and have the wrong bolt pattern. Perhaps you could find something in a similar style?

Rays Gram Lights 57xtremes. They come in 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 in your bolt pattern. They are around 2k for a set. They are high quality. They are fairly light(22lbs for 18x9.5) and they are sexy. Colors: Black, silver, gunmetal, velvet red, velvet blue, and winning blue which is black/blueish color.

You could try out the Rota Grid wheels, Volk replicas. Except with shitty roads, they might not hold up so well.
